Class of 1974 |
The Trojan's football team, the swamp, the great cheap food in the
cafeteria.
Enjoy what you have now once it's gone it's gone and only the memories will
remain. It's better to have fond memories of your past than creating bad that
could come back to haunt you in the future.
Skippy
Would be great to get a blast from the past and here fron some old friends. I
would attend any reunions if there were a way to be informed.

Graduating... Well, that and playing lots of cards at lunch time, meeting up with friends, contributing the odd cartoon to the school newspaper and sitting
back in art classes.
Once the formal education comes to an end the real learning begins. There's a lot of world out there and I dare you to see as much as you can.
Unfortunately I haven't seen my yearbooks for about 20 years now as I left them somewhere in Canada. Then again, I'm not sure I really want to see what I
looked like way back then...
John Abbott College
Playing guitar with Wayne, Gerry & Fred in the student council office and West

Vanier College (2-year music program)
Are you kidding !
Best times in the music room with the gang. Band exchange trips where great. Wonderful music teachers. Thank you Mr. Keeven may you rest in peace.
Never got to thank any of you for your support, without whom most of us would not be where we are now, regardless of how bad we wanted out. Those memories will be etched in my mind forever !
Regardless of what you think about the place, these ARE the best times of your life. You will never forget it, PCHS is unique.
Hats off to all and every one of them.
You got to be nuts to be a teacher these days and back in THE days too.
Anybody still play the instrument they played in the band ?
e-mails please

The teachers' variety shows and plays.
I didn't realize how great a teacher Mr. Cato was until much, much later. There were so many great people, who taught us! Many of them had great senses of humour - they kind, of had to, don't you think?
The people you're hanging around with now have a better sense of your strengths, gifts and shortcomings than you do now. When you talk to them 10 or 20 years from now, they'll remember things about you that you don't and they'll already have predicted your path in life.
Mr. Cato
Vanier College
Playing Hearts in the Resource center with George, Dan, Rich T, Mark, Steve ...

Leaving that horrid place! I have seen auto parts plants with better air quality and that looked more appealing. It was an experiment in educational infrastructure gone mad. Too bad the place stopped sinking!
Don't goto CEGEP when you graduate, It's just daycare for young adults. Try a university outside the province ... after all... most of you will be leaving Quebec anyway!
Dr. Samuels, Bill Keevan, Dennis Cato
I couldn't believe anyone would setup a Web site to praise PCHS. Come on folks, we were treated like cattle... The inspiring white concrete on a white background motif, the carpeting forever in need of repair, the substandard lighting system, the recycled dust system (was that really air conditioning?).
The BIG CRACK in the field house structure. The place was a nightmare, right out of the box. Do you remember a senior member of the school administration who left under mysterious circumstances? All this school spirit, fond memories ... Talk about revisionist history. Middle age must be taking its toll on our
collective memories.
Any real improvement in Stallag PCHS could be directly attributed to the efforts of the inmates. Oh sorry! ... students. Thanks to the incredible generosity of CIL Paints (thanks Alana), the music students actually organized, and worked through an entire weekend painting the band rooms (this was done over the objections of some).
I do sometimes wonder, if those classrooms are still Powder Blue and Rose.

The new smell just wouldn't go away but it was all that really reminds me of those days.
Breathe, you don't need to react to anything. It's only their one opinion.
Mr. Hemens was fun to bug.
That inner child screaming to get out never stops doing it. So pay attention to
it when you can but don't let it wait too long, especially not until you've paid
off your college loan.
