School dances, parties (some of them quite screenplay-worthy), concerts, hockey games, the gang on the minibus to/from school (as well as the minibus route), singing to RN's guitar in the back stairway and at the couple of PCHS gigs he "booked" for us, student plaza snowfight with fellow students I didn't even know, and some wonderful friendships, some still going strong. Honestly, I never realized what good memories I have.
Eat well, and get your sleep while you still can. Make sure you have fun but try to keep your head out of the clouds. Be aware and make things happen. Don't take school or friends for granted. Travel. Work hard. This advice was given to me when I was a teenager, and it still applies.

Fondest memories... J.C.S... "The Probe" (used to be the newspaper is it still?... The social club that overtook Mrs. Evan's religion class in grades 10 & 11... N.A.L w/Mrs.Hudon... a lot of library time and A. Hawes was good company... Mr. Songui in the early years (remember him?)... Learning to love to write and realizing I could... lots and lots of people and friends and P.C. dances and Cascade ice cream in the early summer... it was a pretty good time.
It seems like it's everything now... and in some ways it is,but it's only the beginning. You'll have plenty more screw-ups before your life comes to an end and plenty more joys.Have a good journey.

Mmm mmm mmm my Sherona! ...at the school dance. How about the Pin Heads? Sean Diffly and a Grade 7 party at Collen Galley's place. Do you remember the jean jacket graffiti (Led Zep, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Rush,...)? I miss my workie boots and my Adidas gym bag... well maybe not. I can't imagine anybody being able to wear their Roberto or Jordash jeans now.
Write down the names of yours teachers..lest you forget. Take pictures and keep them in a safe. You'll laugh later. Get involved; reach out; you only get to live once, but do be careful. Strive for excellence but don't get hung up on grades or who's hot that you have not. After college, take time to get acquainted with the real you by travelling...get out of your comfort zone by meeting new people and places, or trying new things.
